f olding hunting knife pays homage to KA-BAR's earlier nostalgic 1189 model . This legendary Ka-Bar folding knife was popular with customers because of it's rugged straight forward design, reliable lockback mechanism and folding clip point style blade. KA-BAR's new 3189 model
is similar in design to Buck's 110 model
but at much more affordable price. KA-BAR's 3189
model knife features a unique military style, satin grey finish on the knifes blade, bolster and pommel. Knife measures 8.875'' when open and 5'' when closed. 420 stainless clip point blade measures 3.875" long, is 1 mm thick and has a hardness rating of 52-54 HRC. The knife also features a no slip black G10 handle and comes with a removable ambidextrous pocket clip installed. The KA-BAR 3189 model
fits snugly in our horizontal mount black leather case /sheath. Option 2: Case / Sheath Only - Price $36.99. The made in the USA, black leather case / sheath is designed to hold the popular Ka-Bar 3189 folding knife. The case can also hold similar sized folding clip point hunting knives like the Buck 110 model that are 5" when closed and 9" when opened. Case will not work with knifes that are over or under 5 inches. Case will not work with auto open, spring assisted folding knives. Case will not work with fixed blades. The case is designed to mount horizontally on a 1 1/2 inch belt only.
Case can be mounted on the right or left side of your belt depending if you are a "righty or lefty". The case is designed to automatically open our KA-BAR folding knife or Buck 110 or similar sized hunting knife when pulled from the case. The secret of the knife case
is in the design. When folding knife blade is inserted into the case as shown in picture the knife will automatically opens when knife is pulled from the case with a gentle downward pressure!
